A position has become available within the discrete SEND department for a 0.5 Lecturer to deliver vocational skills across specialisms, with personal tutor pastoral responsibilities. The successful candidate will have:
- A passion for inclusive teaching and positive outcomes for young people with SEND.
- Qualifications and/or experience in teaching in discrete or specialist provision.
- Ideally have a teaching qualification, e.g. PTTLS
- Experience of teaching and supporting young people
- A calm and empathic approach to students, with experience of using adaptive teaching methods
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders such as professionals, parents, and support services
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
